Couple of updates as a result of our October meeting before the full minutes are published as usual on he website:

- New opening times of the Clyro Pop Up Post office: Due to ill health the Post office will be open in the Village Hall Tuesdays from 10am to 12 Noon. Please make as much use as possible in order to support and sustain this much appreciated service in our village!
- Clyro School Seeking More Pupils!: Come along to an Open Morning Thursday 21st October 10am – 11.30 am to visit our “Excellent” school! Due to a combination of the Local Education Authority stepped funding formula, and loosing a particularly large group of leavers going up to high school, Clyro needs 3 more children to secure funding for the current number of teachers and teaching assistants. We are very fortunate to have our “excellent” rated primary school and to live in such a great location so if you know any families with school age children that would like to move to, or join the school please get in touch as you will receive a very warm welcome! http://www.clyro.powys.sch.uk
